This course will detail the requirements for system components and hardware per NFPA 13. The course will describe the required components and the importance of proper installation. Specific topics will include sprinklers, piping, provisions for flushing, air vents, control valves, drainage, and fire department connections (FDCs). Upon completion of this seminar, attendees will be able to: Identify the components required for wet, dry, preaction, and deluge systems. Explain and apply the requirements for air vents. Locate the required connection for FDCs based on system type and arrangement.
