Proposed Updates to NFPA 14 and NFPA 20 (FP-21023)

This presentation will discuss the revisions that were made to the 2027 edition of NFPA 14 Standard for the Installation of Standpipes and Hose Systems and the 2028 edition of NFPA 20 Standard for the Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection. After a brief overview of the NFPA standard development process, the presentation will review the important changes made to the documents during the first drafts, including insights into the technical committee’s intent through discussions during the meeting. Upon completion of this seminar, attendees will be able to:

• Determine the next steps to participate in the next stage of the revision cycle.
