Navigating NFPA 25 - ITM of WBI Systems (FP-21035)

This presentation will explore the requirements outlined in NFPA 25 Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems. A review of each chapter in NFPA 25 provides a comprehensive guide for individuals involved in the performance and enforcement of the ITM requirements in the standard. The topics covered include the owner’s responsibilities, identification of noncritical and critical deficiencies, and differentiating emergency and preplanned impairments. Additionally, this presentation will delve into ITM of sprinkler systems, common components, valves, private fire service mains, standpipe, hose systems, and fire pumps.
