Hydraulic Cals for Fire Sprinkler Systems (Mod 1) (FP16910)

This introductory module has been designed to teach attendees the process of hydraulically calculating a fire sprinkler system. Using the 2019 edition of NFPA 13 as a guide, the participants will systematically learn the methods allowed by NFPA 13 for calculating systems, determining remote areas and how to apply each method based on hazard classification, water supplies and the main formulas that are used in the calculating process. There will also be an in-depth discussion about how to check hazard and commodity classifications. More than half of this class will be hands on so each participant should have scratch paper and a scientific calculator available. 6 Hour of Continuing Education Instructor: Steven Scandaliato
