Course Description:

This course will review the information found in Chapters 5 and 6 of NFPA 10. While this course covers portable fire extinguishers, it will also benefit pre-engineered systems technicians as they assure that hand portables are appropriately placed as backup equipment for installed systems.

4.0 Hour CE – Technical

This course is approved for:

  • Fire Equipment Class A, B, C, D Licenses
  • Fire Equipment Class 1 and 4 Permits

Requirements:

  • The licensee/permittee must personally spend a minimum of 220 minutes on the coursework, split into 4 lessons of 55 minutes each.
