Course Description:

This course will discuss portable fire extinguishers. The course will review the history of the extinguishers from the 1700’s to present. You will also learn about the various types and uses of extinguishers as well as the laws and regulations that govern the use, inspection and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers.

8.0 Hour CE – Technical

This course is approved for:

  • Fire Equipment Class A, B, C Licenses
  • Fire Equipment Class 1 Permits

Requirements:

  • The licensee must personally spend a minimum of 440 minutes on the coursework, divided into 8 lessons of 55 consecutive minutes each
