Jobsite Safety (CA)

Course Description: The Goal for this Jobsite Safety Course is to inform designers, contractors, services technicians and installers of fire protection systems of the basic rules under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.12. Objectives for this course include:

1. Creating awareness to prevent jobsite incidents.
2. Inform participants about applicable laws and regulations that require jobsite safety features.
3. Increase awareness of the causes, effects and costs of a safe versus an unsafe construction site practices.
4. Inform participants of the need for construction safety programs and how to develop them.
5. Provide an overview of jobsite safety training, personal protective equipment, and applicable policies and procedures.
